An absolute mandatory order for the table. They are huge! Get the extra guacamole for 2 euros — it's totally worth it. Best value nachos in the Gothic Quarter.
Our version of the Tijuana classic. Three corn tortillas filled with beef that has been slow-cooked for 12 hours in a rich, spicy chili marinade. Served with a bowl of the highly concentrated cooking juices (consomé) for dipping, alongside lime and onion.
Tips from diners
The meat is so tender it falls apart. Dipping them in the broth is essential. It's flavor bomb. Best had with an ice-cold Mexican beer.
A refreshing Mexican classic. Plump prawns served in a chilled bowl with a spicy tomato sauce, fresh lime juice, finely diced onion, cilantro, and chunks of creamy avocado. It's slightly sweet, very saline, and has a nice chili kick.
Tips from diners
Very refreshing on a hot day. The avocado adds a great creaminess to the spicy sauce. A great alternative to the heavier starters.
Two large corn tortillas filled with shredded chicken breast and covered in a bright, acidic green salsa made from roasted tomatillos and green chilies. Topped with melted Monterey Jack cheese, fresh onion, and a drizzle of cream.
Tips from diners
The green sauce is excellent — nice and tangy. It's a very filling main course. If you like it spicier, ask for their house hot sauce on the side.
