Our most iconic treat. Hand-pressed dough fried in fresh high-quality sunflower oil at an exact temperature to ensure a light, non-greasy crunch. Served hot in a paper cone with a generous dusting of sugar. Simple and perfect.
Tips from diners
An absolute mandatory order. They are always fresh because they have a high turnover. Eat them while they are still burning hot for the best experience!
Frequently preferred by locals for breakfast. A thicker, more fermented dough that creates a larger, airier fried treat. They are slightly more savory and have a great 'chew' compared to the thin churros.
Tips from diners
Best for dipping in chocolate! They soak up much more than the thin churros. One or two porras are usually enough for one person.
The perfect companion to any churro. Made using high-grade cocoa and very little milk, cooked slow until it reaches a pudding-like consistency. It's designed specifically for dipping.
Tips from diners
A mandatory order if you're getting churros. It's very rich, so one cup is perfect to share between two people for dipping.
A modern favorite. We take a larger, straighter churro and inject it with a house-made dark chocolate ganache while still warm. It's a self-contained dessert that is incredibly rich and satisfying.
Tips from diners
The chocolate filling is very high quality, not too sweet. Be careful, the first bite can be a bit messy!
A truly decadent treat. A light pastry dough filled with traditional Catalan cream, deep-fried until golden, and then rolled in sugar. It's a refined example of textures and flavors.
Tips from diners
The cream filling is remarkably smooth. It's best had in the morning when they are still fresh from the first fry of the day.
Xurreria Trebol is a landmark. Since 1950, it has been the go-to destination for anyone seeking real, traditional churros and porras. Located at the edge of Eixample and Gràcia, it is particularly famous for staying open all night on weekends, becoming a multi-generational ritual for late-night revelers and early-morning breakfast seekers alike, all drawn by the smell of fresh dough and artisanal chocolate.
On Friday and Saturday nights around 3:00am, the line goes down the street. It moves fast, but be patient — it's part of the experience. They only take cash, so come prepared.
It's takeaway only, but there are plenty of benches on the nearby Avenida Diagonal where you can sit and enjoy your hot churros.
