Our homage to the classic. Each croqueta is hand-formed using a bechamel that is slow-cooked for 4 hours to ensure a velvety, almost liquid center. Packed with finely diced 100% acorn-fed Iberian ham and double-breaded for a signature 'shattering' crunch.
Tips from diners
An absolute mandatory order. The flavor of the ham is incredibly intense. One is never enough — order at least two per person!
We use fresh Mediterranean crab meat and diced shrimp, folded into a light seafood-infused bechamel. Each croqueta is finished with a dusting of seaweed powder to enhance the saline, fresh-ocean flavor. It's high-technique seafood in a single bite.
Tips from diners
The algae dust is a brilliant touch. It makes the seafood flavor linger. It's the most refined croqueta on the menu.
Our most famous dessert. A sweet bechamel infused with premium white chocolate, with a core of fresh strawberry coulis. They are breaded in crushed biscuits and served warm. It's an explosion of sweet, creamy goodness.
Tips from diners
You have to try this at least once. It sounds weird but it's like a warm, crispy chocolate cake. The strawberry inside is a great acidic touch.
A favorite for cheese enthusiasts. A thick, decadent bechamel infused with premium Italian Gorgonzola Dolce and populated with large pieces of toasted local walnuts. The balance of creamy, salty, and crunchy is perfect.
Tips from diners
Very rich! It's one of the few places that doesn't hold back on the blue cheese. Pair it with a glass of robust red wine.
We use a mix of seasonal fresh forest mushrooms (ceps and chanterelles) sautéed in garlic. The bechamel is infused with high-grade white truffle oil and a hit of fresh parsley. It's a deep, earthy, and highly sophisticated bite.
Tips from diners
The truffle aroma is the first thing you notice. They use real mushroom pieces, not just flavorings. A top-tier vegetarian option.
Croq & Roll takes the humble croqueta and turns it into a high-end culinary experiment. With over 20 varieties ranging from traditional Iberian ham to innovative goat cheese and leek, or even sweet dessert versions, it is a fun, modern destination for both locals and food travelers seeking a creative twist on a Spanish classic, all served in a lively Gràcia atmosphere.
The menu is huge! The best way to experience it is to order a variety of 'singles' (one of each). They also have a 'croqueta of the month' that is always worth trying.
It's a very casual, high-energy spot. Great for an early evening snack with a beer or a full dinner. If you're a small group, the high tables near the entrance have the best atmosphere.
