Our most famous summer dish. A mix of colorful heirloom tomatoes from local organic farms, compressed watermelon chunks, house-made vegan almond 'feta' cheese, and fresh mint leaves. It's finished with a white balsamic reduction and premium olive oil.
Tips from diners
The combination of watermelon and tomato is surprisingly good. The vegan feta is remarkably close to the real thing in texture.
Frequently cited as the menu's star. Slices of raw zucchini act as pasta sheets, layered with a sun-dried tomato marinara, a rich macadamia and cashew cream 'cheese', and fresh pesto. It's a clean, cold, and incredibly flavor-packed version of the classic Italian dish. Minimal intervention, maximum flavor.
Tips from diners
An absolute mandatory order even if you're not vegan. The 'cheese' flavor from the cashews is remarkably accurate. It's the most refreshing main course on a hot day.
We source high-grade, sustainably caught bluefin tuna. It is seared briefly on the outside and served over a bed of tri-color organic quinoa, fresh avocado chunks, and a light soy and ginger reduction. A perfect balance of high-quality protein and complex carbohydrates.
Tips from diners
The tuna quality is excellent. It's one of the few places in Raval where you can find properly sourced wild fish in a casual setting. The quinoa salad is very well-seasoned.
Our acai is organic and minimally sweetened. We blend it into a thick, cold cream and top it with our house-made granola, fresh seasonal berries, toasted coconut flakes, and a hit of almond butter. It's the ultimate 'energy boost' breakfast or brunch option.
Tips from diners
Best acai bowl in the city. The toppings are very generous. Great for a post-workout meal or a light breakfast before exploring MACBA nearby.
We use the famous 'Beyond' patty, grilled for a smoky flavor. Served with fresh avocado, house-made vegan mayonnaise, local tomato, and organic lettuce. Accompanied by baked (not fried) sweet potato wedges. It's a satisfying, guilt-free version of a fast-food classic.
Tips from diners
Even meat eaters are surprised by this. The texture is remarkably close to real beef. The sweet potato wedges are a great, healthy alternative to fries.
Directed by Chef Teresa Carles, Flax & Kale is a massive, light-filled destination for healthy eating. Spanning several floors with a rooftop garden, it was one of the first restaurants in Barcelona to popularize 'flexitarian' dining: a menu that is 80% plant-based and 20% sustainable oily fish. From their famous cold-pressed juices to innovative vegan versions of classic dishes, it remains a vibrant hub for the city's health-conscious foodies.
The rooftop garden is one of the best-kept secrets in the Raval. It's an oasis of calm high above the busy streets. Try to book a table there for a weekend brunch — it's a completely different vibe than the busy ground floor.
Weekends are extremely busy, especially for brunch. Book at least a week in advance if you want a table. If you're a walk-in, try arriving before 10 AM or after 3 PM to avoid the longest queues.
They have their own brand of cold-pressed juices at the entrance counter. You can grab them to go even if you're not dining in. The 'Antiox' green juice is the local favorite for a quick health boost.
